Cal Pericas kitchen is based in the traditional Catalan kitchen techniques, updated and lightened to adapt to nowadays preferences and food habits. It is mainly supplied by producers from the area: sausages, bread, vegetables, black peas, meat and cheese, game meat and mushrooms are the main ingredients of our menus, suggestions and deserts that change every day according to the supply and availability.
Ours could be called as a seasonal kitchen, since it changes according to the time of the year. Soups are more present in winter time, winter vegetables like artichokes or the winter cabbage, and also the cod. Whereas in summer time salads are the protagonists since they are more refreshing and light. In spring and autumn mushrooms become very important in the kitchen, not only joining meat and fish but also cooked as soups and creams, in scrambled eggs, salads or even in the deserts.
And there are also those dishes that suit all year long like the foie terrine, parmesan and cep risotto or our famous cannelloni, made acccording to granny Antonia's recipe, which are the favorite dish of old and young ones, and last but not least, the grilled meat served with homemade French fries.
In the restaurant we also organize celebrations, banquets and feasts. You can ask for the different options to personalize your own menu.
